I think its right on par! My car traps 126 on motor! 580 cobra trap anywhere from 126-131depending on weather!

how are you trapping 126 with 420 wheel? Did you do some weight reduction?

I mean...stock C6Z's trap low 120's and they make 440ish with a better curve. Whatever you're doing is working that's for sure...if its really a cam only stock weight car its one of the fastest I've heard of.

That doesn't seem right considering my 460whp cobra trapped 122-123, I'd be pissed if I whippled my car and didnt consistently trap over 130. Your car deff moves out for what it is for damn sure tho. :guns:

Convertible is a good bit heavier... and we dont know its build. Could be heavier then stock. My buddies vert 03 whipple car was 3850 before he even got in it.

Full weight! Im 200lbs my passenger was 250! Kid in the cobra might of been a buck 20 lol plus his girlfriend which was small! My car is full weight!

I owned a full weight gto and it was slow it was heads/cam too. Im sure at 3300 lbs yours flew

You should make a list of stock weight stock engine c5z's that trap 126. He'll even cam only ones. Should be a giant list, need moar bandwidth.

Not my problem what others can out can't do. ....... I'm telling you what can be done. Solid full bolt on cammed ones should go well over 130. If my bolt on ls6 camaro can go over 130 No reason a ls6 vette shouldn't at least get close

It's comical sometimes. Not saying it can't be done but not everyone has a $3,000 super light weight clutch with a face plated transmission and a race weight 500lbs lighter than stock. That stuff is probably worth a couple mph don't ya think?

His car def runs good for cam and bolt-ons, but bolt-on only c5 z06's have went 126 in the 1/4 mile. Some cars just run really good. Also did we see how big of a cam it is? I hope to trap around 122 cam only...

Mine runs consistently at 128 mph, it has hit 129 once or twice :bang:

The clutch is no where near that. No more than some spend a any other aftermarket clutch. 500lb lighter.....I wish......faceplated t56.....dunno what it's worth. Depends on how you use it. In the end a c5Z06 is the better car and has more potential.

I'm really not trying to be a dick here. Just trying to point out facts. But you can't argue your clutch/face plated trans arent worth a notable amount. Its like wondering why every bolt on car doesn't run 10.8-11.0 like they do in Factory stock class that make 380whp. Weight is a big part of it as well as drivetrain like a light weight clutch and faceplated trans.

There are lots of things that can affect performance. Your over looking the fact that the z06 chassis is that much better. Just being able to launch the damn thing instead of pussy footing out of the hole like I do would be worth time/mph.

IDK how much either is worth on a back to back test. If you use the clutch then the fp'd t56 is worth nothing....if you don't then I'm sure it's worth a little something. But not what it could be with a ignition cut. The clutch I don't see being worth any more than .2.....at the most. My weight is similar to a stock z06. Those would be the facts as close as I can guess. But w/o doin back to back tests we will never know.
