I went 14.1 @ 97 stock in my 95Z. DA was crap but I didn't know any better back then or I would have tried running in spring/fall instead of mid summer. My current car was strong from day 1... I managed a 13.1 @ 108 and the wife ran a 13.1 @ 106 on different days... with someone who could drive behind the wheel it would have done much better.

It's dumb when people compare the Cobra R to the F-bodies you could buy from the dealership, and it's equally dumb to compare an LT4 Firehawk/SS to a regular Cobra.

It is dumb to compare a de-optioned factory race car that you needed a scca or equivalent license to buy to a normal everyday car. Why would you do that?

That only applied to the '93 and '95 Cobra R.

LT4s are nasty. GM could have done a lot more with them, but they would have stolen sales from the LS motors.

It was an LT1 with its biggest problems fixed - better heads and ligher valves+roller rockers for higher RPM range.

Yeah the LT4 could have carried things along had the LS1 not been such a great motor or been delayed.

It is.....but if you could comprehend I said n/a. Everyone knows the pre 5.0 car needed a blower to run with ls ****. Now it looks like you needed one to run with lt **** too.

So now that being said,

All your arguments "If I put a blower on my car and added weight" are all different now because your motor wasn't built around boost and had high compression and mine was built around the blower? Or just another stab at Ford when GM is doing the same thing with the ZL1?

I know you Love Fords so much

You said blowers were part of the motor now you're back to being hypocritical Hio

Carry on I'm convinced if the corvette had nothing swapped but the Cheby emblem to a ford you'd find something wrong with it...

Doesn't look too specific to me, just "lt." And you said it twice.

Your oe blower is part of your motor. It the way it was designed. Once you go aftermarket then the comparison your looking for should be aftermarket blown to.

I'm not really a corvette fan. I wished they put all that effort into a Camaro like ford does the Mustang.....but better. FYI I would love to have a ford gt.......to ls swap it. That thing would get it on with a ZR1 engine.....or even a ls7

But it's still a fair comparison with a High compression motor , and 60 more cubes when you bring up comparing our cars correct ?

Two different topics there. When you said "4v" in that context, you were most definitely talking about the '96-'98 Cobra. The 2nd and 3rd comment were directed toward all N/A pre-'11 Mustangs.

Edit: And wtf would you call YOUR car if you just strapped on a blower and a few other bolt-ons? Probably exactly what everybody else (but him) would say; "Stock engine with a blower and exhaust."
