Good runs and nice kills. I too thought the C5Z was going to be the one blowing up.

This is what I've heard from several mod motor engine builders. They also blame the tuner for not putting a lower rev limit in the tune.

That was a good kill for the C6Z, that GT 500 looked strong before the engine let go.

C5Z.

I'm sorry, I couldn't help but laugh watching that Ford blow up. Thing was just billowing smoke! Just so...ironic . Having said that, must really suck for the owner and I sympathize. That's going to be a good chunk of change out of pocket. But at least he can do it different this time and make sure that doesn't happen again. How much were you spraying in the Z?

Ford does research now on blown motors. You can't even hide a tune from them.

I would have put it in the guardrail and tried to claim it on insurance.

That has to be such a bummer on such a new car

Guess you can say "It's all in the tune" here LoL

Most likely hit limiter hard. That seems to be when they throw a rod through the side. To many living at that power.

I worked for a engine co, and they Hired an expert to disassemble the motors and find the cause, cost a bit but saved a lot when we went to court.
