Does he not know how to shift or does the mustang bog down when you shift it? It just seems like the mustang would have had a better chance if he stayed in his power band while he was shifting no doubt both cars are fast just think a better driver in that mustang and it could have maybe won a round or two good vid though!

120's is cake for a c5Z.....I've seen them go 118 bonestock. Proper cammed ones should be over well 130 if right/proper effort taken. A 150 should get one near 140(or over) pretty slick if optimized. But that's the problem.....most just want to talk about the parts they bought instead of optimizing the car.

Obviously everyone is welcome to register and voice their opinion. No one is going to be banned for owning a Mustang or for voicing a negative opinion, or frequent negative opinions, of the "home team" (this isn't camaro5) but that doesn't change how stupid and funny it is that fervent Ford nutswinger would call anyone a GM nutswinger on a GM forum.
But is everybody free to be as stupid as they like? Of course they are!

Most of the Ford guys here secretely have a hard on for the LSX though most are too brand loyal to admit it.

I'm sure some do. I can appreciate the motors for their simple, effective design no doubt. But, at least in my case, I'm here because the conversations and personalities are something I enjoy. Much more so than on other forums.

I love the hate!!!
Keep it up... It will change the outcome of the video if we work hard enough..
FWIW Rob Zona went 10.15 1.3x 60ft sealed stock LS6 with intake and exhaust last month...
I've been 12.00 2.1 60ft on street tires in my C5Z in a 5000ft DA @ 119-120mph. Before the fast intake, gears, and spray.
Have made 700+WHP on an .082 jet....
I'd race a 5.0 Turbo car... Why not. It's all in good fun anyway

Lol i think the guy who said the C5Z traps 120mph was sturring the pot. My friend who sold his second C5Z a few months ago educated me on the Z's almost daily and the Z cars in this forum are talked about daily. That being said its almost a given that even one here knows how good the C5/6Z06's are i think the real question is Just how good is the new C7Z06 gonna be.

I believe the new base Vette has showed the potential of the direction GM is headed towards just a waiting game now. Im sure some of the rich folks will be getting the new C7Z once it comes out and let us know just the real potential it has.
