in the long run you're much better off with the 5.0.

Had to quote you on this incase you try to edit it later.

This applies to all trucks & cars by the way.

Ford is now denying warranty until we can prove all maintanence records.

Starting to think I made a smart move by walking away when I couldn't get what I wanted. More info please!
Islander and I have talked extensively about the issues our trucks have had or in my are starting to have.

First things first, the brakes on mine were warped at 25k miles. I drive it no different than I did my 1/2 ton chevy's of which I had 3 that never had had brakes done in over 100k.

It ran like a scolded dog for the first 55k, but now, timing is retarded after you go WOT for more than 3 seconds. Now, it only runs 87 b/c it's a work truck, but regardless, the truck will cut out after 3 seconds of WOT.

Other than that, it's a pretty good truck. It quiet, it's smooth, and it's real roomy. But, if it was my money hands down, no doubt, I'd go Silverado. The fact that all warranty is out now (at 65k), and the issues are more frequent, makes me a little twitchy about buying one on my dime.

Yea that is too bad. I'm sure you would be proud to beat a bolt on 3v with your built,turbo,ect..... f-body.

As far as your ecoboost beating my 5.0, all can tell you is I ain't met a ecoboost yet.

EcoPoop>5.0
Stock vs Stock and eco has a couple mph on the 5.0. It gets really ugly with just a tune.

For Christmas I asked my wife for a pair of mustang tail lights.
I explained, I have not seen a set yet
