89gmcs15, you need to get a tune asap. Mine was slow like that at first too. I think ford softened the tune in the 5.0 to make the ecoboost more appealing. Mine would shift at 5600rpms stock and after the tune it shifts at 7000, everyone knows the modular engine loves to rev.
Get a tune from one of the top tuners and it will feel like a different truck, trust me.

Nice, but you should have the "house" hooked to the F-150 instead of the little thing... 
It's so different these days... a 4X4 doesn't look like one, or the 2WD looks like a 4X4, whichever way one may see it.

If in the market for one, that's the model I want. I passed on the 3.5L TT for economy reasons, but the only one they had at the "right price" was a CC anyway. I specifically wanted a longbed supercab 4X4 3/4 ton, but was willing to settle for a 1/2 without a diesel, but with a turbo or 2. Those 3.5L's really can make power.

Haha you know it. Been in a trailer for almost 5 years. Our housing went up 200-300% because od the oil boom so im hoping it can settle before I buy a farm.
yeah its quick vs older trucks but is in no way a really fast truck. Even of it is touching 400 hp (I honestly dont know) it still weoghs a lot. Whats ot gunna do, beat up on a ss trailblazer?!? Lol
