If you would like... I can tell you about why you should never EVER go with Bama. It has nothing to do with producing HP. They are manipulative liars. I urge you to change companies before you lose that motor. Seriously. Not saying this to be a dick...

Pretty much. I know I can't be the only one to realize his slip and vid don't match.

But I definitely agree, guy in the cobra shifted SLOW. Cobra should have put 1/2-1 car on the coyote
I realize that but by the dyno it makes much more tq and hp.

cobra jet intake is a revolution in power possibilities in a coyote or especially a BOSS.
I understand the whole rpm thing.....being able to pull a lower gear and all. It still don't change the fact the cobro made much more power.

I've always said they are dyno queens so this was no surprise for me.

That 5.0 is really quite for exhaust. And makes crap for power for mods.

I raced a full bolt on upper only cobra. He made 475rwhp forget torque. I broke 2nd gear, and I have **** 3.31's. Did a 60mph roll, I was in 3rd. My 2nd gear ends at 82mph at 7600rpm (with my 27.5" tires and 3.31's) I think I was at like 4500rpm where I'm making dick for power and torque. And I'd say my car was heavier... Off the hit, he couldn't pull me. By the top of his 3rd he put a half car. Then by the top of 4th I'd say he had a car and a half.

Figured with all that torque on me, especially off the hit , he should have pulled pretty hard. I think if I just had 3.90's I would have stayed out a half car or he would have. Just a mix of strong powerband, and strong gearing. Even though coyote doesn't have peak power, and most are heavier then a cobra.

Oh he was. But I ment the torque advantage is there for him. But didn't pull away from me. after reading my post, it was alittle off topic.

Same Cobra against me. Both start in second. Me with "clutch protection strategy" killing me on shifts. Tips the throttle back in. This is the reason I went to the AED tune

See how he started getting a good pull on me soon as I hit 4th... SAME thing with Jordan. 3.31's with boss intake and a tall tire is KILLING me when I hit 4th gear... Killing me in general lol.

Top of 3rd is 112mph for me. My point was that cobra was in a fatter part of his powerband, and with all that torque, he really didn't pull me off the hit. He probably had close to 75ftlb on me too (374 for me)

Well my buddies motor wouldnt have lasted a week with there tune.

14.7-15.2 AFR at WOT. And they blamed it on him and said he didnt know what he was talking about. Then reported back on facebook (making up a story) saying how they helped him out and it was just a corrupt file which is why it was so lean. Said he re-dynoed the car and everything was ok now.... which was a bs lie. They never fixed the issue nor was the car ever back on the dyno. I would know since its my friends dyno. So we got into it and basically left it at they are lieing hacks.

Ditch that tune. You have no costumer backing with them.

This is my car in the video. I am very happy with the Boss intake manifold. I can feel no loss in Tq in just driving around and I daily this car. I seen a camparison JPC did between the CJ and Boss intake. with the GT500 TB on the Cj and stock TB on the Boss the CJ made 2 more WHP but did make right around 400 WTQ. With the FRPP TB which costs an additional $700-$800 the car picked up 20 WHP and 10 WTQ over the GT500 TB, so for over $2,000 that's 22 WHP and idk how much tq gain but probably around 20. I will just stick with my Boss put a bigger TB on it and maybe port it. Much more cost effective than the CJ to me. Secondly I am extremely happy with my Bama tune. I am on a datalogged revised Bama tune and my car runs great. I was on the canned 93 oct tune when I made 413 and should be around 420ish now since the revise. Yes I did beat a AED tuned E85 car. He was very surprised and not happy to say the least. LOL

That test was a joke. I saw that and laughed. You dont need to be an aeronautical engineer to understand why. Did you see the part where they used the same air tube on all three intakes? The same tube that is a restriction on the stock intske. What is the point of comparing intake manifolds if you dont allow them to breath to there full potential. Did you see they had to use 2 reducers to get that tube to fit to the stock gt500 tb. Not to mention the stock gt500 tb actislly flows less then an 85mm tb. Bottom line... I gained 25whp with my cj over my boss intake. Yes I used the proper monoblade tb and the proper air tube to let the intake actuslly breath

the boss is a fine intake. every real world coyote or boss out there using the CJ intake picks up torque and hp over the boss. if you want every last hp possible get the CJ. im glad i didnt get the boss intake.

I have the Boss manifold, and picked up torque over the stock manifold. I do think that the CJ is superior, and will probably pick one up with the frpp mono-blade next. Yes it is expensive, but I agree that it's worth it if you want to get at all the power this car has to offer.
