Default 2nd Street race with my wife / Puppy Kicking - but He asked for it

All -

I was stopped in the left lane at a red light coming home with the wife earlier this afternoon, when a very loud (i.e. - almost an open exhaust) dark green Mustang (picture pulled off the 'net and embedded below) pulled up beside me and revved his engine.

My wife, Jennifer, smiled and asked if we were gonna' race - but before I answered, the light turned green and we both took off.

The 'Bird easily made short work of the Mustang.

Jennifer laughed and said: "He didn't even get a chance to think he was gonna' win."

We were about three car lengths ahead of the 'Stang at the top of first gear, so I let off; with that, the wastegate opened on the 1-2 shift making the "My car is Turbocharged" sound. Both parties (Firebird and Mustang) eventually coasted up to the next light.

"Is that car turbocharged?"

"Yes"

"It runs really, really well!"

"Thanks"

(It was all over in less than two minutes - but it was still a bit of fun for a Saturday afternoon.)

Here's the "Bullet" I raced:

Kinda similar experience for me tonight as well.

Pulled up to a light with my system blaring and a black charger pulled up next to me. He proceeded to pull just a little bit ahead of me for 3 lights, so on the third one I ran a bit higher into first. He still insisted on being just a little in front so I just pegged it to 6000, hit second and chirped, hit third and chirped some more, and I was gone. He didn't pull up beside me again for the rest of the road

Nothing serious, but it's the first time I've messed around in 4 years since doing 5 days for 109 in a 55. Needless to say I'm trying to stay on my P's n Q's as much as possible. But I miss that feeling soooooo much lol.

Yeah I had a lawyer... Not sure on his level of intelligence though...

I'm in norfolk, where the judges are BRUTAL. I got lucky with 10 days, 5 suspended if I served the whole sentence. I had one other reckless in WA about 3 weeks later for 105 in a 65... I was on deployment and had a lawyer go in and they dropped that down to negligent 2nd right away...

I just asked and she said an unequivocal "NO" to any and all requests for pics.

Just imagine Scarlett Johansson (as in the Avengers), but with blue eyes, hair twice as long, and quite a bit more "chesty-er"!

(Yes, she is Yummy!)

Its crazy in NC you get a lawyer, and its pretty much gone at most you get some non moving violation. Here in FL they have some online course and they pretty much act as if it didn't happen ( at least for the first one).
I know in Va they are ****'s when it comes to anything automotive. I hate that state with a passion, worst place i ever lived.
