4PointSlow, how do all these cars you post (including your own) have such high trap speeds? Not saying this in a derogatory way but I would like to know the secret. I cannot achieve this and it is making me feel like dog poo.
For eg, that 310Hp 370Z is trapping 113mph. Damn impressive! Do you know if weight has been removed? If I recall, those Z's are not exactly light.
In addition, the torque on those cars are also much lower than an LS or LT motor. My point being, if the torque is low, Hp not high (enough) and the weight is somewhat heavy, what causes these cars to accelerate so quick in a short distance. Last time I checked the rate of acceleration still equals force/mass.

Z cars are slow. They struggle to run mid 13s or trap over 103 mph. List all the glory passes you want, thats what they run on average though. Also, bolt-ons don't do a damn thing for HR or non HR engines..or the 3.7. If you are not happy with what it runs off the lot, then keep looking because all the bolt-ons on the world aren't going to pick up more than 15-20, if that. That Z running the cammed GTO is one of two things, either he is spraying a ton of nitrous or that GTO is not cammed.
Here's my wife's old G35 vs my SS when it was just a lid and cat-back. Giving the G35 the hit. G35 is an 07 "S" model so it's got 3.73s and the 306 horse HR engine. Car only weighs like 3400lbs and runs exactly the same numbers as the HR 350.

I have yet to get a good run against a z. (Ie competition)
And that's in my hhr. Lol
Not saying they're aren't any properly modded ones but I have yet to meet one.
These guys are also the most prone to actually pay.attention to me though, so I have that going for me.which is nice.

I am not knocking the HR motors, I just do not see a bolt-on one trapping 113mph. Like GTOSpd stated, the car in the vids posted has more going on..most likely a shot.

Makes sense because its the truth! I loved my G35, but without spending thousands on a turbo set-up or spraying it, it was stuck right there where it was. Awesome cars though.
