Default MY 00 SS vs new C7 (vid)

Just happened to run into this guy cruising around. C7s are pretty impressive.

Either he has more than bolt-ons, or the c7 driver sucked. They trap between 116-120 stock.

Yeah, no. Stop trying to compare the heavily-modified(suspension and chassis-wise) unicorns to an average range. Most bolt-on LS1s will trap 110-112.

Nice kill. I'm assuming you have more than bolt-on's now pulling a car that traps 117-119 stock. What all is done to the SS? Is the C7 auto or manual?

I trapped 111-113 and i have the stock ls6 intake that came on 02's, oem throttle body, stock exhaust manifolds, stock y pipe, stock piping, and a stock stall(lighter aftermarket 245 mm single disc will pick up 1-2 mph).

I dyno'd 328 whp, with full bolt ons and a lighter locked stall it would easily do 360-370 whp. So I'll you figure out what it will trap. 115-117 mph in the same DA..

Temp rose 20 degrees from first pass to last pass(50 to 70). DA rose from 600 to 1600. So traps went down slowly. This is on Kumho Ecsta all season rear tires, 245/55r16. Not my drag radial setup(which are black prostars with et streets on them to match the front). If I had tire I would have done 12.2-12.3.

Intake/AED tuned/Drag radial/LCA's 2013 5.0 I raced(my 12.4 run). In fact when this pic was taken we were racing.

Thanks guys sorry for any confusion. The oil you see is because the oil restrictor isn't small enough, I am going to change it out sometime this week.

As for the car I just got it back from having a Precision 7675 put in. Its running on its initial break in low boost setting right now around 9 pounds. I am going to put up another video of me vs a H/C 427 C5Z, fast little ****** it was.

Good run. It appears you and 4.slow would be a good race. Turbo vs. 3 bolt ons....

No one asked you, troll. Just because a handful of LS1s have run a 116 in negative DA, along with all their other suspension mods, doesn't mean this one is going to run the same.

I want to see you against a stock c7, so we can lol
