Default H/C 6.0 Formula vs "500hp" GTI

So I was hanging out at a car meet for the first time in years. Rolled up with a healthy black nova with similar exhaust as mine, dumped true duals. Everybody had eyes on us.

This meet was basically lowered euro cars and a talked up 400hp evo. As I go to leave a guy says something about not having raced in a while and wants to really bad. So my buddy immediately says he has a race for him, the firebird over there. (black formula, drag wheels/tires) without hesitation looks at the car and says, "OK, pop the hood for me"

alright... in my mind im sure this guy isn't going to notice anything. sure enough i only got **** about my SLP lid. (guess he was looking for nitrous?) time to race.

Afterwards I found out he was telling everybody his car had 500hp. After the last race i took off, we made a lot of noise on that road.... But he stopped back to the people watching and said, "I beat LS1's all the time, that ain't a normal LS1"

lol

Holy ****, man! Your car wakes up like you hit a light switch. Sounds amazing.
On a side note, that guy must have figured out pretty quick that he bit off more than he can chew.

Nice job!

Exhaust is Edlebrock stepped headers and 3" duals into flowmaster 1 chambers (10 series) very very loud though.

Lol, always a good feeling when that happens. You slaughtered the poor guy haha. It takes a good amount for those cars to get to 500whp so I'm going to assume he was talking out his *** the way that you yanked him.

Car sounds nasty and that stall hits hard!

I will always recommend to spend money on a good stall converter. I made the mistake of using cheap $400 converters thinking they were good. I have a Yank Eliminator (for th350/400) now, same stall speed and yet completely blows away cheaper converters.
