Default 2014 GT500 vs 2010 GT500

I met up with some pals in Mexico for a pull yesterday.
Da cars...

Note: ZL1 isn't ready for a rematch ...yet.

Da mods...
2014 intake + tune
2010 VMP TVS + 4.10 gears + supporting stuff

We both had a fat kid riding shotgun so that the weight would be fair.
Both cars were on street tires.

We did two 40 to 135 runs and they both looked this vid.

More mods coming for the 2014 soon.

Lol, sometimes you just gotta find out where you stand.

Those 13+ cars are awesome, he's a pulley + exhaust + gears away from matching or beating me...

I thought the VMP was an equalizer. They put down big numbers, but seem to never perform up to snuff.

That's pretty impressive performance from a tune and intake only.

What do they make with just intake/ tune? I know most usually do that 13-5/6 kit which is Cai, TB, and tune but idk how much that TB adds.

Looked it up guess Cai/tune is good for 65whp so basically around 650-665whp

He layed down 592whp at a dyno day and 20mins after him I did 636whp.

Note: These are mustang-dyno type numbers.
