Default Firebird Formula vs HHR SS

So in Hugger1975's thread there was another local guy that wanted to get a run in with Jay's HHR. We got together and chit chat for quite a bit. Went out to the spot and got some runs off. Here are the vids

Jay (Hugger1975) - HHR SS - Bolt ons and a tune 93oct
Gabe (00FirebirdaREV) - Firebird Formula - LS1 with bolt ons and drag radials. Nitrous bottle was off.

Run 1

Run 2

I'll let the guys chime in on the runs. The first run was pretty clean. Jay missed 3rd or couldn't NLF it. The second run was definitely off. The firebird was running really rich. Like buried needle rich due to the nitrous being armed(maybe,,,,hell if I know what nitrous is)

I'll leave the spray off.

If you pull away.
I'd like to turn it on and see.what diff it makes.
Hard to tell sometimes.

Only race I had doing both on and off against a local srt4 was rape train for both

(Its black with green stripe if you've ever seen him)

A pull lined up, done and posted on the same day is almost unheard of in srk. Lol

Good runs Hugger. He's got you off the dig HARD though. You got em on the roll. I'd like to see a rematch with Formy in right gear \ correct setup from roll.

Def shows how much it sucks to fall out of boost.
The nls is gold in these cars.
He was lime seeeeee ya as I made a.sammich while waiting for it to come back on
Lol

The roll was much better for me but he has issues so we will have to do it again after I get my bushings looked at.

We stopped running after we saw some play in my axle.
May be nothing but it's my DD so we stopped.

Good runs gentlemen. Wish I still had the vette, would've made for a killer race against the hugger.

Yeah it definitely would have. We got to get together again for another beer and wings night. We haven't done one of those in a year.

Good couple of runs! Looks like that HHR gets going from a roll. I am curious about the outcome when you run again. Definitely, try the roll race again.
