1000WHP GTR VS 2k13 BMW S1000RR

Nice, that car is sick.
Dude is nuts for racing a S1K at stock wheelbase, they are probably one of the most wheely prone bikes made.
Not that it would change the outcome against a 1,000hp car on a stock literbike, but I would love to see a rematch from a 45 with a drop and stretch on the bike. The AWD GTR with 1000hp has such a huge advantage against that bike at pretty much any speed...lower speeds he can't go WOT right off the hit, and higher speeds the power of the car is too much of an advantage.
Still some nice races, thanks for sharing .

I wanna run beans for ***** and giggles, would be a fun race - wish he wasn't across the country
I make probably 25 more to the wheels, but my race weight is quite a bit more too. Dunno how much his turbo system added, but my bike is around 540#s and a stock 05 750 is probably around 430#s so my bike is maybe 80-90lbs heavier after his turbo? Both stock wheelbase too.
Both can ride our asses off too

give or take? Would be an interesting race. Big cubes vs smaller+boost...

It breaks up on the dyno and runs perfect on the street. We think there's some weird RFI issue with the dyno i've been using.
With a 7" stretch, case full of 50wt oil and a soft drag radial (at 25psi) it made 176whp @ 5psi, first pull off the trailer street tuned.
That was the only clean pull i got...it wouldn't run after that. Put it on the street and its fine. Pisses me off, lol.
It VBoxed 60-130 in 4.10 on 6psi, it's on 8psi now...should be right around 200whp with the long chain and soft rubber. I'll probably hit it with 10psi before the season is out, but for now i'm just trying to enjoy putting miles on it.
Bike weight was 415 before the turbo with 1/2 tank. Probably a little over 450 now.
If you were local i'd absolutely be down. I'm not really able to find races locally now.

I can't dyno this damn bike.

Do you know your wheelbase in inches to compare? I am at 59.5". -2 rear lets me pull the tire back almost an inch from the stock 58.5", not only making first gear more usable from the gearing but also adding an inch of wheelbase .
Based on my trap and weight I am at 202rwhp, which makes sense based on the lack of mods. TQ is insane though thanks to the cubes, around 115ft/lbs LMAO. My last ZX6 made 112hp but only 47tq hahahaha.
Man, would be a hell of a race.

Nice, sounds like it would be a hell of a race. From a dig I would have my hands full if you have a 7" stretch on it now. The 14R makes too much tq for SWB and first gear is a handful.

I haven't launched it yet, but I know its going to be interesting. I'll probably strap it before I even try to make it leave hard.

Definitely strap the hell out of it and slam it, it helps a ton.

The S1000rr is impossible to roll race well with it at stock wheel base... You're either wheelying or or not getting anywhere near wot in 2nd at 60 mph... The bike in the vid lost all of his momentum in the first two races when he chopped the throttle.. The last race was better..
He needs to put a strap on the front end and it will take some of the fight out of it.. Best thing to do is slap an arm on it.
My 61" S1000rr with -1 front gearing will dead hook and not even try to wheelie from 2nd gear at 70 mph...that's 185rwhp and me at 200lbs suited. Hell I could probably use 1st gear...lol
The S1000rr still will not run with a 1000rwhp car on the top end, but it can damn sure get to 175-180 mph quicker...
5.5" over swingarm...(wheelie stopper)
