Default Cobranotch vs 03turbomach

Cobranotch's turd gen has a lq9 with headers, ported ls6 intake, stock ls1 toon, th350 3.42 gear, nitto 555r......and it has negative weight reduction due to all the junk and garbage in his car. But it is missing the rear bumper and is accented with trailer park chameleon colors.

Sorry no pics of under the hood of the iroc....I just didn't think about it. probably has to much dirt on it to see **** anyway.

03turbo's Mustang is pretty much a drag car that he drives on the street. It does run on pump but would like a little race gas mixed in. It's a built sbf with all ford parts gone. 347, carbed, vic jr intake, trick flow heads I think, 3 speed auto with line lock(not used that night), 3.73 gear and Hoosier 28" dr's. The car is caged, race brakes, no heat type thing......but it does has power windows and no ps. Mustang went a 11.4 @ 117 or 118 before the engine refresh.

dig run

low roll just to see how the engines match up. We the mustang was gonna leave harder than the iroc due to tire, gear, higher stall and about 200-300lb less weight. But me riding negated some of it's weight advantage.

Whaaaat??? Hio approved of a roll race? I love how he's tries to justify it "just to see how the engines match up"... Lol that's what I ******* said to you. To which you replied "learn how to drive your car (insisting on digs only) or don't drive it at all"
What happened to bakery ****? You didn't kick their asses for going against the great Hio??

We don't particularly like roll races. But when we do it's a slow roll 20mph ~.....none of that gay *** 45 or 60 mph ****. We don't mind trying them as the mustang had a clear advantage on the holeshot. The iroc has no drag set up what so ever on the suspension.

Believe me I gave notch **** for wanting the roll.

It's been said that the SBF is just a copy of the LS series engine.

I do agree with you in that roll racing with lower HP/TQ cars is not really necessary. BUT, some people have fun doing that so why bash them?

For big HP cars, trust me, there is a reason they roll race on the street. It would be a joke to try and dig a 1000HP late model car on asphalt. Even prepped...it would still be worthless at that power level. Corvette's, Vipers, GTR's, Gallardos, Fbodies, Ford GT's, and so on. It doesn't matter how good your setup is, or if you cut 1.3 60ft times at the track...you are not hooking that power on the street.

I'm not trying to defend either side...I like both myself...but trust me I know from experience. A guy here in Boise has a 280Z N/A LS based 408 with a powerglide in it...on 15's with slicks, all the suspension goodies and so on. I have about 400whp on him. We raced from a dig and he destroyed me...3 cars by 120ish because of how much I had to lay off the throttle. Yeah I started coming back hard but it was over by then. I'm on the stock suspension so that doesn't help things but...even with bigs/littles, slicks, and full suspension, he still would have won. We then went from a low roll and I pulled past him by 1.5 cars @100MPH.

Only reason I wanted the roll was for engine comparison. I even said I didn't really count it. But had to see how the stock motor stacked up against a built ford motor. It was a win for me even when I lost by a car. Just me staying that close on the dig was a win for me.

It's already hurt a few feelings. Turd gen is very mild. he has a fast lsx rt for it. If he gets a ewp, 1.8 rockers and losses a little weight it's gonna be down right nasty for what it is. Remember it's on a stock ls1 toon, but it's probably not hurting it much yet.

347 runs good.....it runs better than any 347 I've seen on the street. I'm sure there are some higher end builds that could do better.....I just haven't seen them. But I think 03turbo may have finally conceded to wanting a ls in his other mustang. If for nothing else price alone. This $800~ used engine just ran with a $5-7k furd. He's not upset or anything.....just the way it is.

This 60mph **** from stockish rear wheel drive cars is what really turned me off on it I guess. I'm actually ok with low mph biscuts. The only problem you run into then is someone trying to negotiate the mph that is best for them. 20mph is a low roll......40 mph is not and usually seems to benefit one car more than the other rather than just negating the hole shot. That is why I say digs are better.....but then you run into someone trying to out tire the other or run a tire that is really not streetable. That will probably chap someones *** but it's true.

Its a street car, see the video, we are on the street. How many times do I have to tell you Doug. Its a 347, with very old trick flow r heads. trick flow stage 2 cam. Eagle h-beam rods and Eagle crank. Stock xxx roller 302 block. Has a 3800 nitrous stall. Pa c-4 with trans brake. Didnt use the trans brake in any of the dig races.
We did another dig race with hio and nathan in the camaro, but no video. Had to put an extra 160 lbs in the mustang to let the camaro keep up. lol

The other run Doug drove and took off like a girl too! We can put 3 ppl in the iroc and do a 20 tonight where I don't spin? I don't get why you get so jacked off over this dumb ****. Can't just be happy my junk runs good? I understand you being a little upset because a 800$ motor stayed next to a built one but goddam......

I'm not mad at all. Rolls are gay. I away have said that your car runs good. Never put it down, and it has more left in it. Just like if we would run at the track and I left on the trans brake, what would happen than?
