I finally went ahead and raced my buddy in his 2013 5.0 with trakpak today. He has longtubes with Borla Atak w/o cats. It has a tuned but I don't know what kind. We decided to go from a dig. I honked 3x and we were dead lock in, both of us trying to find traction. I quick shift to 2nd and he pulled me 1/2 a car which we were stuck at all the way through 4th gear. I lost but I was surprised it was that close. The second race started the same way, both fighting for traction but when I grabbed 2nd the rearend tried to come to the front. I managed to straighten it up but he had me by a full car all the way through. They were two damn good races. I'll try him again when I get my exhaust and tune. What u guys think?

With exhaust (and get a tune, I need one too) it'll be a drivers race. From what I've seen anyways...

Sounds about right. Stock for stock the 1le should win. A tune makes a world of difference on a 5.0. They're sluggish without a tune IMO

Good runs! If he was just bama tuned explains why it was so close. Get a AED tune on the 5.0 would of made it alot worse for you.

I agree with you PA94Z, but i'll try him again when I get tune and piped up. His car runs good and that borla atak is loud as hell!!!!!! Just wanted to see where my car is at.

Sure they are slow, but more of a drivers race with a 5th gen.. if either has the edge it is not the Camaro.

Neither car is slow and it is most definitely a drivers race with a competent driver behind each wheel. I've never seen a better illustration than this video

Stock 1LE could manhandle a stock 5.0. Throw some mods on it too and see what happens.
