Good kill, man.
You have any more information on the car you ran. Fox, SN95, 4.6, 5.0?
Just curious what you ran.

JC316 11-14-2014 06:25 PM

And the award for the most pointless, run on sentence in internet history goes to.... *Drumroll*.......... GMtechmatt!

A little more info would go a long way, as would some punctuation. For all we know, it could have been a fucking mustang II that you ran.

X2 lol
But I'm going to guess it's like a 2000 mustang gt

willizm 11-14-2014 08:35 PM

The details.....overwhelming

OneSlowV 11-14-2014 09:12 PM

Seems like he raced a 2v to me. Good kill op!

I'm going with an NPI 96-98 gt. An 00 with 8lbs should be around 370RWP, which should be able to hang with/beat a geared/stall stock LS1. Blown NPI would be more like 300-330RWP and would make this story more believable.

2003Cobro 11-14-2014 09:23 PM

Lol on the Tech a stalled LS beats anything easy.

I was just figuring 14.3 stock for the 2v, 13.3 after 8lbs and maybe 13.1 with tires
Mid 12's for the geared stalled ls1

sweet99ss 11-14-2014 10:03 PM

Wtf!!!

NateLS1Mustang 11-14-2014 10:18 PM

Wow, 2Vs are that shitty to make power with? I knew they sucked but not that bad, gah damn. Embarrassing lol.

A stock PI GT can run 14.0@101. Then you add in the gears/tire and you are looking in the 13.7 range. Those motors really do take to the boost, a typical 8PSI build will be lurking in the 370-380 range and high 11's-mid 12's on the track. So yeah, not seeing the LS1 win by 5 cars.

Where did you get the 2V from? The OP wasn't very specific, he just said a charged mustang. Could have been a 6 banger with the T-bird eaton M90 on it for all we know.

408-99-f 11-15-2014 06:36 AM

It was probably a 04 cobra, I hear thoes thing are wicked slow

HioSSilver 11-15-2014 07:40 AM

Good kill op.

was that so hard to say guys? Most mustangs are turds on 8lbs and is very believable a stalled auto could outrun one. Remember a stock 03 cobro has 9psi.

big hammer 11-15-2014 07:46 AM

could even be a 3v.

PA94Z 11-15-2014 08:42 AM

That is a perfect example of why you guys are laughed at on a daily basis. Your comments are not rooted in reality.. A stock LS1 with a stall is not pulling buses on a supercharged PI 2v, 3v, or stock Terminator.

MAYBE a stock pushrod 302 with a P1SC on 6 lbs... MAYBE.

big hammer 11-15-2014 08:47 AM

poor spaz. so stupid.

I'm a geared stalled auto, sorry bud but a stock terminator is not hanging with me

Any track times for your stock LS1, no bolt ons, stalled car? I'd bet 12.9... Auto's go 13.5's stock.

So in other words... you aren't a non bolt on LS1. What comes after the LT's? Cutout, catback, stock exhaust?

A Terminator is a high 12's car, so you can see the skepticism of a stock LS1 with stall, putting almost 2 busses on one from a dig.

Runs good anyway.. not trying to be argumentative with the civil folks here in SRK

HioSSilver 11-15-2014 09:24 AM

I've seen plenty are cobro's go low 13's.

 cutout also, stock cat back, ls1 intake, since the op was so vague I figured possible Lts for him also, it's all good, pretty wide open description by the op so I figured a wide open stalled auto time, lol

Nice.. Cutout with stock/mild cat back is the best option for these cars IMO.. I like quiet sometimes.. I have a Magnaflow on the Camaro, and a 4" cutout under the rear passenger seat. The Magnaflow does its best to tame the sound when cruising.

Can't really use a MPH on a stalled auto car to compare performance.. 108- 109 is good for his mods. The converter unlocked slips 7.5% on a SS3600, It won't MPH like a stick car but the torque multiplication more than makes up for it. With a stick the car would trap 111 - 112.

So what happened to the OP? Still no information on the stang that he raced? Unless Mystic has a new user name again. lol

If it was mystic the car would only have a lid and 190k miles on the clock. Four busses wouldn't be enough of a win for his car..

We can rule out Mystic then.
