Half Mile roll race 2014 ZL1 vs 2013 Cam Only LS3 SS w/ passenger
Both manual.
We Ran from ~35-145
ZL1: stock
SS: cam only
I'd say it was a damn good race, and I only lost by barely a bumper.
If I didn't have a passenger I would have won. Didn't get the chance to run him again though.
I'd say it was a good run either way.

Trapped 117 short shifting 2nd because I was spinning.
I should be able to run mid 11's if I had a proper wheel/tire
But the closest 1/4 mile track is about 3.5 hours away so I haven't been back...
Wish there was one closer.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Side note, almost everyone on the ZL1 section of the camaro5 forums are getting upset with the term "cam only". Most saying they've never even heard it.
Funny thread if you are bored. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384858

Good close run! Definitely would have won without the passenger, you were coming back up top.
I never did like how tall the fourth gear is in 5th gens, didn't help you at all lol. I think the car would benefit from some 3:91's.

Yeah man I was coming back up top because my cam is real peaky above 5500, and my next mod will be gears. Those 3.91's will help a lot because 4th gear is fukin long...

It's not crazy strict because a few of the vettes left some marks, but it's frowned upon.
It's not like Shift-S3ctor where you can do all the burnouts you want.

your car hung in there but that ZL1 was hurting from the non driver operating it and whatever jacked up tune was in it.. you see the fireball under the car towards the top of the run? at :31

Well it's stock, so it has the factory tune. And that "fireball" you're talking about was orange cones that marked the finish line.
