It was a easy win because 3.31s > 2.93s
Lost? He beat the GT500 3 times and the guy paid up lol
Vette brakes due to bump on the road watch round 1 on this video, also look at sec 14-18 you can see the bump and camera move, the vette has skinnies up front

Racing needs the right gear and tire combo to maximize your setup at the end of the run, be it 1/4mile or roll racing.
Your a GT500 owner, I have one question. If you had more gear to it will it go faster lets say from a 60 roll and up vs the stock gear? Lets say your car.

I gear my car for the racing that I do and the speed I hope to finish at.

So obviously it would be different ratios for different types of racing.

Vette either takes the hit or the GT500 was bogged in a gear. Which does not surprise me. Once things got rolling the GT500 was obviously the faster car.

Yes my car would be faster from a 60 with the 4.10s then it would with the 3.31s. Not even close

That is absolutely true. Based on HP, Tranny gearing and motor setup i.e. Nitrous, PD blower, centri, or turbo.

He was dead wrong about that particular camaro.

You are the one to talk about taking the hit? Every race I've seen from you has been you going on the 2nd honk

Negative I said gear the car to where it does not hit the limiter or go into od. So if he posted a auto 5th gen going into od with 3.91s then put the 3.27s and stayed out of od duh I was still right on the money. Let's not forget it started when the vid of a 6spd 5th gen with 3.91s was posted not a auto

My built procharged c5z is faster all the way around with the 3.90's, It takes a car with substantially more power than me to run with me. If that vette had even 342's it wouldn't even be a fair race.
