Awesome runs. Funny how everyone is bashing the new z06 and it traps pretty much exactly what the year before ZR1 did and it looks amazing doing it and handles better than ever before... Maybe the car was a bit over hyped and that's why people are dissapointed? Either way both Dodge and Chevrolet are putting out some amazing cars!

Thanks Tony. While I am not disappointed in the C7, the Viper is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Since they are a lot closer in price and performance I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot more Vipers in comparison to the previous years. They look bad *** as well. Dodge got it right. I hope it makes for a great rivalry like we have never seen for the VvsV.

130-134 mph trapped in stock vipers.

Good lord they are fast.

Props to the Z06s as well.

128 mph for a 78k base car is incredible. Especially when you factor in the manners and road course capabilities.

I feel confident we will see some 10.5 second stock vipers in the future.

And some 10.8 Z06s to boot

Great write up awesome pics and video. All are truly badass cars. I would guess the people bashing on any of them will never even drive them, let alone actually be able to own one. I doubt any owner of any of them is dissapointed in the least.

WOw really impressive would be nice to see them all with some DR. Looks like the challenger is the best bang for the buck if you wont a drag car. But the viper though making everybody its bitch lol

Hopefully they will offer the same 8 speed auto you can get in the Hellcat in the Viper sometime in the future. That would be pretty insane.

Totally not impressed with the new C7Z or hellcat times for its power. Trapped GT500 times and slower and the Gt500 went 10.80 on a drag radial only. I mean least the Hellcat weighs a billion lbs and has a functinal backseat.

Still you miss the obvious.... 650 crank hp in a 3500lb car it runs right where it should. I'll say it 1 million times the vette will kill the others around a track which is what the vette was made for.... The challenger is very impressive for the weight and the new viper is just sexy and fast as ****. The vette has a brand new motor/blower combo. Look how much power they got from ls1-ls3... You think the lt1 won't drastically improve you're crazy. The reason people want so much from the vette is because the z28/ss/zl1 are failing so bad. Those should be the cars gm should be making competitive 1/4 wise with the hellcat/gt500.

Less hp and aero setup to corner. You know the reasons why are you surprised? And again first year for the lt1. Ls1-ls3 is a 100hp difference. It will get faster. 10's stock is a pretty damn good start.
