Default 00 Camaro SS vs 05 E55 AMG

Borrowed a Go Pro from a buddy so figured I'd get some runs in with a friend. The E55 is bone stock and Camaro mods are listed in my sig minus the Tick Master and 315 Nitto's which sucks because I put them on the next day. Knew I was gonna get killed especially with a passenger but what the hell.

Good runs! Those E55s are top end monsters. I think a cam would help you out big time. He needs to pulley and tune the merc.

Agreed, they just keep on pulling. He's been considering the pulley/tune route but with 140k on the car he's not sure if he wants to risk hurting the motor. One day a cam will be in my car and we'll see what happens, I want to drop the passenger as well.

How much did the passenger weigh that you're concerned with em?

Also, that Mercs got some serious top end... I think you'll need to mod up either way. Honorable death.

About 200lb's or so. I'm about 210 myself. Mods coming, looking at cam and LS6 intake, re-tune and re-run.

I figured you would've edged him out. I ran one at the track with mods in sig except on stock clutch. We both trapped 112. Get rid of that passenger and it'll be closer. Good run!

Shifted around 5800 for the most part. I've always heard these tach's are slow so I keep that in mind, this is still my DD for a while.

I ran a e55 multiple times on yellow creek highway.

he pulled until I got to 6500. then I caught back up and pulled away.

every time we ran he would get me until I got up on max HP.

as many times as he tried he could not shake me. 140-20 mph braking for corners. crazy ****. VERY twisty.
