Do some of you guys have stock in Ford and/or
GM? I would swear you guys did with all of the that goes on in this section. I mean, its not that serious. Plus, neither Ford nor GM gives 2 ***** if you eat tonight.

If you're comparing modded cars in a straight line all that **** goes out the window. Drag/street racing would be pretty boring if you only raced the cars the manufacturer intended to compete against.

Vettes are a zillion times more common though, too, than GTs which would make sense obviously because there are more of them. I've only seen like 2 FGTs on the street.

I agree with that. Guy who owns a repair shop near me was restoring a Power Wagon from the ground up, '49 I think it was. He's also semi-recently fully restored a beautiful Superbird, completely all original. The only MOPAR's I'd take are the classics and varying generations of the Viper.

I disagree. We have only known about the FGT for a month or two now. LS3 Vettes being compared to 5.0s has been going on since 2010. Unless you mean the FGT before that, which the ZR1 was faster than IIRC.
Vettes are a zillion times more common though, too, than GTs which would make sense obviously because there are more of them. I've only seen like 2 FGTs on the street.

Second part I think is silly. FGT (05-06) is in a completely different category of cost and layout altogether than a Corvette. It just so happens that a Z06 was just as capable, in stock form for both cars.
