Little fox doesn't **** around out of the hole. That G8 is damn impressive for hanging close with all that weight!

I don't think so, it didn't have that dump-trunk with soda-can exhaust sound to it.

Not to be "that guy" but I bet the fox is spraying. From personal experience I've seen many at the local 1/8 track run low 8's, then turn around and hit a high 6. Not that it's a bad thing or something, just that SBF's tend to not run so hard without some help. There is a reason so many have been swapped to LSx. Call it what you like, but it is what it is.

I know THAT likely put a target on me lol. I don't mean to sound like a fanboy.

Not hard at all to make a SBF run good on motor. Just have to know what the **** you're doing.

Don't get the whole LSX swapped Fox's confused.. they swapped the car not the motor Should be called a 4th gen swap. Guys who drop a LSX in a Fox want that lightweight chassis and beefy rear.

Little fox ran good. But most good running h/c foxes are 12 sec cars.....many don't make that fast.

I don't agree with you on the cleveland assin. I have yet to see a great running oe headed cleveland (atleast out if the realm one would consider normal ) of course the aftermarket changes that but it changes that for all engines. Even then you'll struggle to get it to keep up with oe casted ls7 stuff due to the bottom ends. Of course there is more aftermarket for that.

I think we had a youtube battle on this once....lol if i remember correctly the chevy stuff won

LOL... Never thought of it like that. You're right though. As much as that is a motor swap, it could also be looked at as a body/chassis swap. Just depends on you're viewpoint.

Well since a car isn't defined by it's engine, I don't think it's a chassis swap even though that is indeed an interesting perspective to take.

By your own admittance you go to the track... 2 times a year? You have built all of what... 0 SBF's? I think that should put your opinion into perspective for everyone.

Why compare a SBF to a LS? A SBC has the same drawbacks with factory parts as a SBF. Noone seems to bring up how SBC's are turds with factory parts too.

Talk to anyone who has a LS powered Ford, they bought the car with intentions on putting the LS in it. They are always a GM guy too. Some folks just need easy/cheap power.. they can't get it done any way else.

Oh it certainly is... car swap How many Foxes pulled a well thought out Ford build to drop a LS in it?
