Default Fun 1/2 mile race videos (Hellcat goes down)

I've known this guy for a while with an SRT-4. He's been trying to get this thing running good with a modified MOPAR stage 3. It's doing alright...

460whp big wheel MOPAR Stage 3 (58lb wheel, externally gated) on e85, built motor w/cams and head work, 160mph limit in 4th gear. Before the build he was running low elevens at the track. He hasn't done any drag racing yet. He's been struggling with some weird knock issues after the build.

His car with him in it can't be more than like 3000lbs.

SRT-4 doing work! Those things are light and can make some big power. I think the Hellcat guy musta been scratching his head over that one.

Hellcat driver said, "Man, that little **** got me. That was fast as ****"

Oh, and owner says the SRT-4 is 3200 with passenger and driver.

Love Omega Motorsports events. I go to all the California ones.
Nice runs.

There was some good action out there, but all I've seen are stills from some of the big power GM turbo cars.

holy hell. I can't remember the last time I saw a SRT-4 neon running and driving! those little bastards used to be everywhere! I remember they had some pretty wicked top end with a few minor mods.
