**Official 2015 Event: SRK "Loser eats Crow" Challenge**
Mods: If there is any issues with this, message me. This is at its heart a SRK section challenge.
"Loser Eats Crow" challenge.
-Any individual that frequents the SRK section or are approved by Willizm, Islander, or myself from other communities can enter this challenge. Please reach out to me if you would like to be added and which class you’d like to be apart of. Challenge acceptance ends on Thursday April 30th. 2015 (acceptances can be made on case by case basis afterward)
-Upon Acceptance as a participant you can begin posting timeslips immediately but must adhere to the 3 day rule. This is to accommodate for any individuals that will be making passes between now and the end of the registration period.
-All participants submit 1/4 mile pass's from those in the Challenge up to December 31st 2015. This is to accommodate those in hotter climates where later year racing is more ideal. Best overall pass will be tallied and ranked by ET. by class The participant with the slowest ET will be identified for that class.
-If you make a pass outside of your class post it here anyway. Participants who make passes that exceed the class will be handled on a case by case basis in a diplomatic fashion. This could include a standing in that class with the faster pass or be placed into the next faster class to keep the competition and fairness equal for everyone.
-This is a honor system type challenge with some stipulations and proof measures to keep everyone honest. It is not intended to bar people from participating.
-Side betting/stakes with others is allowed.
Rules
-Car must be known to other contestants at the time of accepting the challenge.
-This includes, make, model, year, general information, and a Picture/Video. See last years competition thread to get an idea of format 13.228 - Here
-Full disclosure of detailed modifications is not necessary and up to the participants discretion.
-Car passes that are submitted must be driven by the screen named person. No exceptions
-All passes must include adequate proof of pass. This includes a combination of video, slips, car number, and/or forum regulars testimonial. This is a good faith measure to keep all participants honest. If there is question to the validity of a submitted pass then it will be voted on by participants where majority rule is needed.
-All passes must have time submitted within 3 days of track date on slip and proof must be submitted within 7 days of track outing but not past December 31st 2015.
-Participants can submit as many timeslips from their chosen vehicle and make as many passes as they wish.
-Numbers are final, no calculation for DA, deficits or bad runs. No phantom timeslips(bag blowing across beams)
-No fabricated timeslips will be allowed.
-Bikes will not be allowed into groupings with cars/trucks.
-Entrants can elect to remove themselves from the competition up to April 30th 2015
-If you can not make a pass after the competition starts then you will "Default". Default entrants will automatically lose the event at the close of December 31st 2015 to those that have posted applicable timeslips. If there are multiple defaulted entrants in a class then the winner of that class can choose which default participant should be the loser..
-All class’s are based off of time spread of x.00-x.99 for that group.
Losers Obligation
-Of those that participate the loser from each class must comply with these obligations.
-Loser must wear a shirt bought buy the winner.
-Loser must take picture wearing said shirt and post it on ls1tech.
-Loser must make that their avatar for Jan 2016 - Mar 2016
Winners Obligation
-Keep the shirt clean and tasteful. No swearing or personal attacks.
-Winner of the class ranking gets final say on decisions for the losers obligations.
Class
So with that said this challenge isn't about what you have ran in the past, but instead what you think you can run or what you are shooting for this year. Afterall, this is how this challenge started with some folks being optimistic for the up coming race season. I'm asking everyone to give me their honest opinion on where they think they fit best.
Due to character restrictions on post limit, the list will be found in 2nd post.
