You must not frequent here often. Hammer was being facetious. Take note.

Good death OP, did the other driver not know how to race? Just wondering because he had to be told twice to go lol. I hate racing with noobs that don't know wtf they're doing.

Hmmm damn. For some reason I thought your car was a dark color, black or maroon. My bad.

And the V2 guys say we V1 guys need h\c\nitrous\full bolt ons to MAYBE stand a chance against a stock one. L-O-L

Good kill OP. I didn't expect as hard of a pull, but not really surprised a bolt on V1 beat a V2. 50 roll from 2nd it sounded like?

Is this on Fb yet? Has **** hit the fan yet?

Not really surprised ether. Never was impressed with the V2 when they are stock. But Boltons are another story. I think up top a V2 would have no problem passing you up though.

Ran one at the track, he was trapping 114-116 in an Automatic CTS-V. That's quite a bit faster than a bolt-on 2004 CTS-V.

They do average that. And a stock V1 averages about 109 or so. The issue is that V1s can't ****** 60 to save their lives without some attention to suspension and tire. If V1s could 60 under 2.0 like V2s can thanks to the lesson GM learned in the V1 suspension, they'd trap and ET harder. I know I've lost a few mph just with hopping on the 1-2 shift alone.

I really don't go by trap speed on the V1's since they are so hard to hook up. Every V that I've been in or have owned have ran better than what the drag times tell you. They are really good roll cars .

+1 it sucks to the V1s have a lot of potential. But that shitty rear end holds the car back so much.

Nothing wrong with the ls2 in the V ether. Having said that I still feel the ls6 has more get up and go in the V.

Kind of like the Hellcat, which apparently beats cars that trap 10mph faster than it.

Next we'll see it apparently beating P1s and a LaFerrari.

yeah i spin every shift at the track. In 2000 da I did 12.8 at 112-113 with a bad 2.2.... Tulsa up north is 1000 feet lower elevation and the da can get between -300 and 300 when its cool out. I can see a 115-116 trap there. Friend's bone stock 5.0 did 11.9 at 116 on drag radials there, no tune, his 5.0 weighs the same and made less power stock. bench racing ftw
