Nice! I'll be lookin for mine to make more than 515whp then. I wonder what is the most a bolt-on ls7 has made.

First step will be to lighten up the LS7 by drilling some holes into it.

Full bolt-on wet sump ls7. It was in pieces when I got it, so it was freshened up with new rings/bearings and honed just enough to check and clean it up a bit. I have a mamo'd fast for it. But mostly the same as my ls6. Which includes a ewp, udp, 1 7/8 kooks, tilton clutch, ported fast 102, 1.8 hs rockers/psi springs. I may do a set of 2" kooks on it. I may also put some jesel rockers on it for later mods. I've had the engine for several years now. I have a card style maf for it so I'll change up the intake system a bit to.

it's got 8 4.125" holes in it. I think that's plenty.

Are you planning on using the ls6 harlans on it? Pretty sure the ls7 rockers are different. 2" Kooks is what I would do and probably woudnt be out much money after you sell the 1-7/8.

I just picked up a set of jesels to revamp mine a bit and they sure are PURTY. Just need to figure out the rest of the valvetrain now to go with them.

Most c6z's with bolt ons I see are around 480-500whp so I wouldnt plan on too much more than 515 but I suppose we'll be awaiting the results.

Yea the rockers are different red. I was mainly listing the ls6 mods then the changes fir the ls7. But there is a 1.9 rocker that may work on the ls7.

I should go well over the 500whp mark with the 7. Maybe even as much as 530. After all the ls6 would do about 430 on a dj......a ls7 is rated at 100 more hp than the ls6. All speculation till it's done but it seems very plausible to me.

good luck! very unlikely you will see 530 unless the dyno is a pride one...I am now building my second c6z - going boost. build thread in the forced induction section.

yes - tis' marcelo! certainly a small world.
