Figured I'd share a vid of a run I did with a 5.bud. Run was a 45 roll.

Camaro: cai, Lts, ported tb, tune. Driver 225lbs

Mustang: Jba 3 inch h pipe, lethal performance 2 3/4 over axle pipes, 3 inch muffler delete. bmr lower control arms, and drag springs ... Driver is 140lbs.

Thanks guys, I actually was a little dissapointed, the owner of 5.0 said he had no tune. To me the 5.0 did very well and was the real star of the show.

He also ran his cousin with a C6 GS and it is my understanding that he lost by about 1 car to the vette. 5.0 will hurt feelings fo sho.

Didnt seem like a clean run to me. No honk off or anything, why was he half a car ahead when yall punched it? Seems like he was waiting for you to level out and you punched it.

That looks exactly like my run with my friend I his L99 when I started in 3rd gear on a 40 roll.

The 1LE is the only fifth gen id consider buying. None of the other ones are worth the price to me. Id put an ls7 in a 1LE looong before getting a z28

Fifgen doin work as expected. Now get rid of that heavy clutch and stuff some gear in it........or better yet try to score z28 wheels and tires. It gas 19's instead od 20s.

Yep. Fully aware of the dangers ahead. I will try to be ready. I will say that, this was more so his run, I was a little low on my power band at the starting speed. Next time that wont be the case.

It was totally a clean run and in fact, it favored the 5.owner. The run was planned before it was executed. The speed picked was more tailored to the 5.0's power band than mine. There were 3 honks (they are hard to hear on the video, due to how loud the 5.0 was) and the 5.guy actually beat me to hit. I also gave him half a car on the start since I was pretty certain that I would pull and wanted to make sure that his car was on the camara's frame at the start.

Actually Hio, I feel like the 5.0 was the real star of this show. I do need to follow your advice and loose some weight where it matters. The 300 pound difference between car/drivers dulled my performance.
