no class rules in street racing. run what you brung.
running at a track makes them comply with class rules or run bracket.
the fastest car in that show running in class rules means he loses or is just average.
kinda like 2JZ 2 power adders running 6's. in class single turbo rules they run high 8's.
or even a tires class. they have to run 10.5's they cant hook anywhere. so on the street they run big tires.
not impressive at all. 1500hp pro stock engine with juice on huge tires. -pro mod. i bet he cant run a 5 on a track to save his life.

I guess i should clarify what i mean by running at the track.. Im not talking about professionally driving or entering competitions.. Im talking about simply loading your car up and running down the track friday night vs. going to a street and risk getting caught.
At any rate im not trying to knock street racing im just saying that if i had a race car like these guys id prefer to run it on a drag strip on a friday night vs show up to some sketchy back road somewhere. Just my .02

2. Street racing is all about car setup, power management and the driver. The last 1/8 involves none of that.
3. It's more expensive.

To some degree i agree on the 200mph on the street but saying the last 1/8 mile takes out the driver and setup is complete BS!!! I run a tube chassis 69 camaro with a sonnys 632 and i promise you the setup matters and i do more driving on the big end than i do in the first 1/8. They dont have to do much on the setup on these cars as they all run a very expensive electronic launch control system

wtf lol. in the 1/8th? most supergas/ super comp cars run 5's in the 1/8th.
no he cant run 5.xx in the 1/4.
he admitted in a episode he makes more than 1400 on motor.
pro mods run 5.9's or better.
