I'm just wondering if.....?
I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 5.3. My motor had original 267,xxx and just rebuilt my 4l60e at 252,xxx! I have 3.73 with a auburn locker, 8.5 rear end. The motor is stock and the tranny only has a corvette servo. Now here's my question
I went to a couple of meets and raced a few people, some had tuned up diesels and even 4.6 mustangs! I thought I would get my *** spanked BUT!! I beat them all! Now when I got up to 110-120ish the weight at the fact it's a truck they started catching up but from 40 or 60 and even dead stop I had atleast a bed length of not a whole car length on them... Do I have something special or what?? Haha

4.6l Fords are a joke but I've never had a problem with any 5.3l Chevy truck before before the 14+ generation. My Tundra is a 4.6l and spanks 5.3s but I would get spanked by a tuned diesel for sure so looks like you got a 5.3 sprinkled w/ fairy dust.

And I'm serious, it's almost has 300,000 and it's quick as ****. I read some where were Gm and also other companies would produce "normal cars and trucks but with a bump in power or performance" and I'm just wondering if mine is one? I don't know if it's because it's a 2 owner truck, my dad and myself and we both ran full synthetic and only 3,000 on it and did flushes and everything? Even my friends who have a 5.3 and they have tunes and even my brother 07 LBZ 6.6 diesel Tuned up and full exhaust and everything and I still pull out ahead...

Rather than ponder the possibility that you have a magical car with an ultra-powerful and stock-modified engine, just take it to the track and see what it runs. You may find that you simply ran a bunch of turd cars or you may find that you have a freak. We don't know and we will not be able to internet-dyno your car.

OP, check your motor for a Tornado. LOL. This could be the source of your extra power.
jk....
Good runs. Sound like your truck moves out. You might consider that maybe you are just a better driver.
