Default Cammed C6Z vs 408 C5Z vs GSXR 600

First race tonight in my new car. Ran a 408 C5Z that made 568 whp and a GSXR 600 with unknown mods. All runs were done from 40, I was starting in 2nd and still struggling with traction because I'm on street tires. I did learn tonight that if you forget to turn traction control off and are spinning it will lock you out of the next gear, whoops.

Good runs. Glad you got to see and prove first hand how quick the C6Z is!

Thanks, I love it. Going to port and mill the heads and do the MSD intake this winter. Try to get up around 600 whp NA and call it good.

So you're keeping it?

Good to hear!

My stockers were ported by PRC on their 265 program and then we milled them to make my static CR 12.0:1. With my 235/251 cam (smaller than yours I believe) and a Vengeance ported Fast and NW they produced 583/526.

You port and mill your heads and add an intake you won't believe the difference!

Yea I decided to keep it, selling it for a new house sounded like a good idea right up until someone was wanting to buy the car. Just couldn't bring myself to get rid of it. I'm just going to stick it out in the current house a little longer and just bust my *** to pay the car off as fast as possible.
