I agree, I think I'd want an auto in a high HP diesel truck too. 6 speed in the LSx and auto in the Duramax would be nice.

Yeah been there with the stick in a diesel . Nice for when you are towing but suck for racing can't really shift them quick like a car. And plus the newer Allison can hold some nice power. Plan on having the tranny built later on though !

I wanna get an H&S on mine (2012), but a probably trading to a Dodge Cummins in the next few months. I love my 6.7 Ford (bought brand new), but am ready to switch up and do a tune and exhaust.

I would be careful tuning that year model 6.7 the turbo does not like the hotter H&S tunes . And my dad just bought a 2014 cummins badass truck it's getting tuned and deleted today and nice truck btw

Thanks, yup 92k miles on it and so far zero issues. The new Dodges and Gmc Denali's (4wd of course) are so badass, I will take either one. Either way it will definitely be deleted, tuned, with exhaust. The Ford is starting to rattle a bit and the current body style is beginning to get plain.

Damn, that's a beautiful looking truck. Why are you wanting to get a Cummins? Isn't the Ford 6.7 (Scorpion) a really nice platform to build off of from a performance standpoint? Why not just delete it, tune it, and put on an exhaust and intake?

They are nothing like the 6.4 power stroke was. If I remember right rods are pretty weak in the 6.7 stroker

Don't get me wrong, it's an absolute beautiful truck and I love it but am ready for something different. The new Dodges and 2015+ Denali duramax diesels are simply sex on wheels (especially with a lift and 37's).

Also very true the 6.4 was better performance wise after the egr delete and a tune. The 6.7 although more reliable does not repond as well to the tunes as the 6.4. In fact the 6.7 is the least performer of the 3 although it is not a bad truck or engine at all.

I would love to have a 2015 Denali Duramax that's been fully deleted, exhaust, intake, EFI Live, etc. That would be my top choice, but it's also the most expensive. When I was really looking for a diesel truck, I was very torn between the 6.4 Powerstroke and the Duramax, preferably the LBZ.

The interior was one of the biggest selling points with me. GM stepped up big time with the there heavy duty trucks plus love the new body style .

The new 2015 body style of the Duramax is great. I think I like it even better than the classic body style LBZ's. It doesn't get much better than a lifted 2015 Duramax on 37's.

Gonna get me either a new Cummins or the new Duramax pretty soon to turn into a Welder's rig. I'm thinking a 3500 dually, slammed to the ground on 26inch spike lug nut rims.. Hahaha!

So to the few guys who said they'd like to get a new Cummins, what brings you to that decision? If money was not option and you had a choice between a 2015 Dodge Cummins and a 2015 Chevy/GMC Duramax, which would you pick and why?

I honestly don't know **** about diesels. All I have ever heard though is that a Cummin's will last forever. That's why it was my first choice. I would not mind rocking a duramax or powerstroke though, and to be honest, powerstrokes are my favorite looking diesel trucks on the market but I've heard otherwise against their reliability.
