Your car did not do to bad at all considering the difference in Hp. No doubt your car runs strong for the mods it has.
On a side note, I think everyone should race a car with twice the Hp at least once. It truly is a humbling experience and will leave you with a greater appreciation of cars with more power......plus it will knock any chip of your shoulder that you may have.
