ran a supercharged challenger rt
One of my buddies coworker's has a supercharged challenger rt and said he wanted to run so i figured why not. The challenger is running a D1 procharger with supporting mods and 3.90 gears and dyno'd around 510rwhp, it's a 6 speed as well. We decided to run from 50 and got 3 runs in. First run he honked it off and got a lil bit of a jump, we were pretty close then i missed third like an idiot however once i got it in third he wasn't pulling so i knew if i got a clean run in i might be able to get him. Second run i honked it off and we took off virtually at the same time. Things were pretty even and this time i hit third perfectly, about midway through third i started to pull on him. We ended that run at probably about 120 and i was about half a car to a car ahead. Unfortunately that was the only clean run as he hit the rev limiter on the next run and i easily pulled away. Afterwards he was pretty surprised considering i just have a h/c ls1. Hopefully this week we can get some dig runs in.

Gotcha! Beating a 510 rwhp 4200 lb car doesn't surprise me. Hell it was a drivers race between me and my buddy in his 3500 lb ported Cobra that made 500 rwhp. Nice kill regardless!

yeah i figured it would be a good race i just thought he would pull a lil harder. It seemed like from third gear on up i was pulling on him pretty good. I also think him having the 3.90 gears hurt him some cuz his gearing was really close. For instance he was already in third on our 50 mph runs cuz he said in second he would basically hit the rev limiter almost immediately.

nothing really special just ai 243's milled to 60cc's and their 226/234 cam. Still running the factory ls6 intake and tb. When i got it tuned though my tuner said it was one of the higher hp cars he has had on his dyno that had a mild cam and ls6 intake. Really thinking about getting a fast but just don't feel like spending all that money plus spending money to get it retuned by someone else out here in hawaii.

Yeah I recently did a Fast 92 to mine and the power band seems a bit broader and smoother but no sure it was really worth the money at full price. Used I'd say yes, but if it's hard to find a tuner in Hawaii then you might be better off not doing it

yeah i have been looking for used ones but even if i find one shipping it out here would be expensive. There is actually a decent tuner out here i just don't feel like paying close to 2 grand once its all said and done for the intake, tb, and tune just to gain maybe 15-20 hp.
