Default Daily battle - 80 silverado vs 99 eclipse

Me and a friend out messing around. Truck wheel hops so bad every time I have to let off. Eclipse has exhaust only I think.

Haha! I just got her going again, my dad bought it 27 years ago, I got it from him and have been working on restoring it. It's a 6.0 , that I rebuilt with the entertains of beating the **** out of it, so it's got some good stuff inside. The only hp mods are milled .030 317's, headers, and obviously emissions delete. I'm still rocking the old sm465 trans, slow shifting turd lol.

Future plans are a 4l80e, eaton 122 supercharger, and custom grind tick cam.

I love old(er) trucks. I'd really enjoy an early '90s single cab F150 slightly lifted with a healthy AFR headed 351W in it. Nothing to win races, just a fun truck to do truck things. I also really like the early/mid '80s Silverados too.

I had a 92 f250 5 speed, decent little truck but gas guzzling bastard! I'm getting 14mpg @ 70mph out of this old pig now lol. Very very happy with the swap.

I agree nothing beats a diesel in a truck, but I'm a petrol fan myself.

Oh yes, tons and tons of space. I'm still doing things to tidy stuff up lol. My dad has a h/c stalled auto ls we are swapping into his 73 SS nova, and a cam only ls into my moms 97 t/a..... I'm trying to Find time to work on this old girl. I drive this truck everyday to work, 114 miles round trip. And I love it lol.
