2014 Mustang GT (stock) vs 01 Trans Am WS6 (Heads/cam) Was on my way home from work on Monday night (technically Tuesday morning) and I am cruising at about 70mph and happen to stroll up close enough to identify Mustang tail lights. My inner monologue was like "Oh look, a victim..." So I casually make my way up to him with literally zero intention of instigating anything stupid and I see the windows go down and I see my buddy Phil is riding shotgun...
So we get to a straight patch of road, and I'm in 6th, we're at about 50mph (not really looking at the speedo) so I throw it into 3rd gear, and the split second that my foot comes off the clutch (I guess judging by the sound he thought I was already in the throttle) he mashes it. He jumps ahead by roughly a little over half car length before I floor it and stop his pull. 6.8k comes up, I bang into fourth and feel the tires chirp, I see his headlights quickly fade in my mirrors. There was a solid two or three bus lengths between us before I saw his headlights dip and he got on the brakes.
I know it wasn't really fair, but it was fun lol

There was a partial Snapchat that Phil's drunk-*** took of something during the encounter, not sure if it was the actual pull or just dicking around. For whatever strange reason, he likes to randomly yell my name lol
