Was wondering why a cammed car only trapped 112.

Very possibly just "bad air". His sig states 3550 +DA.

That really isn't bad air. His is just a 91, so they're slow.

12.1 @ 3550 corrected would be well into the 11's.

I just saw cam-only and 91, didn't see the LS1 part until now. Damn that's a stupid-slow cammed LS1.

The car only had about 24* of timing from the insane IAT temps. It should pick up quite a bit in good air.

Motor made 370 WHP on a 85* day with 120* IAT's. Im ready for some cool fall nights to break into the 11's.

Lol@correction. I guess I better correct my numbers. Apparently I ran a 12.2@120.44, corrected.

And if you want to go to corrections, just post the track, time, and date, and we can calculate a DA number(not your assumed 3550) and make your numbers up.

Good run. Tons of improvement left based on that 60 ft.

What tires were you running and what's the weight of the vert?

Thanks. I am running Hoosier DOT 255/50/16's on 18lbs. Car weights 3640 with me in it.
This was my fist time on the track with slicks so i still have to do some testing to see what it likes off the line. Most all the passes i left off the footbrake at about 3K. Wish i would have just flashed it to see what would happen but didnt think about it.

I'm not pants, why're you talking about your waist rather than posting the time and location? It's pretty easy for us to check the actual DA so you can get your bragging DA-corrected numbers. I apparently trap 120.44 DA-corrected

If you ran around 1pm, it'd be ~3557 DA with it corrected to 11.596@117.141

This is SRK, that's what happens here. You're in the wrong section if you expect anything else.

Nice, I think flash stalling will help out a ton. You're a good launch away from a solid 11 sec slip.

Might need to relocate the IAT to keep the temps down. I had the same issue when I first took it to the track.

I need a different intake setup. Thinking about going to the tuneport style but it looks like it might be a big restriction. I'm currently pulling hot air out of the engine bay. On a 90+ day I can see 180* IAT's
