Default KFC vs Bolt On Cobros, N2O 2v & Turbo Integra

I truly hate posting raw footage, but I'm in the middle of finally editing our 2k video so I can't sidetrack myself any more with new videos.

Went out this weekend and had some fun, rocking my rental drag pack!

Black Cobra aka 8urSS - Pullies, x pipe, tune
Yellow Cobra - Ported blower, pullies, longtubes, bolt ons, fuel system, E85. 500 whp
SN95 aka Craneman - 2v, bolt ons, 3.73s, T56, 150 shot
Turbo Integra aka AlwaysInVtec - B16A, .50 trim, 13 psi, 308 whp
Trolling son of a bitch Chevelle aka Torvus - 370 ci 6.0, 67mm turbos, 4L80E, just testing his 1st gear roll!

40 Roll - SN95 camera car

30 Roll camera in my car

40 or 50 Roll - SN95 camera car

60 Roll vs Integra

TA runs hard. Looks like you weren't in your powerband on the 1st run but still pulled in the Cobro

Love the Chevelle

Different factors. Different speed, maybe different gears. Heat soaked?

For a cam only car, I keep being impressed by my car, the heads are trash bag 853s that were sitting in my garage for over a year... Car made 416/377, tuned by Pat G. Must've been how bad my buddy was smashing the heads around on the work bench to get the valve seals in from my old heads. True sloppy mechanics build straight down to the copper coated head gaskets... lol

As light as a stock Trans Am, I don't do the weight reduction game, matter of fact, I have a bunch of trash and bullshit in it like an inflatable bed from TX2K I still haven't taken out!

Put away the butt hurt cream, the first race the Cobra went on 2. He asked for the 30 rolls too, not sure why since I was the only one on tire...

Yeah that was my first 1st gear 40 roll since I swapped over to stock 3.42s, I kinda shifted early and he went early.

Good runs, T/A runs damn well, guess I don't need to see if a ported Cobra would outrun me anymore

Well considering you make the same if not more power than 99% of pullied Cobras, you shouldn't have a problem unless you can't drive for ****.

Ported ones, had a few Cobra guys tell me that a ported one would give me more than I can handle.

My b, I read your post wrong. I doubt it. Ported cars make 500ish or so to the wheels. I wouldn't be too worried about them in a cammed LS3 car.

Agreed. Your weight advantage should be more than enough to cover the slight hp advantage they would have on you.

At stock weight and cam only the race would almost always be the other way around with a ported Cobra, so your car runs extremely well for what it is

Tell me about it! It's faster now than when it had hogged out LS6 heads on it, I actually have some port velocity with the **** stock castings. I have ported and milled 243s at home but I don't want to go through the trouble of pulling the engine apart again just to find out I have to flycut the pistons thanks to the MS4 I have in it.

I will say though, the yellow Cobra is a turd for the mods. He just needs to play with the pulley combinations and it'll net him some serious gains, not all pullied Cobras are equal, that's for damn sure. Once he gets that combo right with a bigger heat exchanger he'll be at 525-550 whp for sure.
