Met up with a buddy, we had three races. I have a 231/235 cam, headers, kinda crappy true duals, 6 speed. Car made 400/365. His car is slightly larger cam (mid 230s), headers and a cut out, also 6 speed. He claims 395/425. I had a passenger, he did not.

1st race was back and forth door to door, a good run. 2nd I didn't hear the honks so he got a car jump but I held it even, and third race was the best hit, but I hit the rev limiter and he pulled ahead. Not a bad night. I have the video from the first race.


Also, apologize for how awful the video is. You cant really see but the red light is his gauges.

Went from 45-50 in second gear, because he's on street tires, and my drag radials are getting a little low on tread

Tight race a little better shifting and you'd be out in front the whole time it seems

I was wondering who was going to point that out first, haha. My slave needs to be shimmed, so I kinda have to shift slow or it grinds. I might need some transmission work lol.
