The 5.0 has compression on his side, 11.5:1 makes it so he doesn't have to run a ton of boost. It's a fast car though, went mid 9s at almost 150 mph not too long ago.

So it took a built LS, in a lighter Ferd platform, on 23psi to edge out a not even forged motor 5bro on 12psi? As expected.

And for the 5gen barely pulling the Paxton car on 10psi... Lol

Good runs!

That turbo 5.0 is by far the most impressive. Several hundred pounds heavier than the Fox and on roughly half the boost the LS is on!

A lot of things come into play with boost making the same hp as others. Displacement, compression, heads, cam size, fueling, turbo, timing, etc....I could change cam, heads, timing and make what I made on probably 7psi vs 9.

Why are you overlooking the fact that a 20+ year platform with a 15+ year old LS engine, beat on a 5.bro?

Just saying...

LoL, some things never change.

All you have to do on here to stir the pot; is not give the LS credit...even when it has the clear advantage (twice the boost and light car).

Furd guys still hanging on to that loss. Impressive loss? Looking for a runner up trophy?

Reminds me of a famous quote:

That 5gen doesn't impress me tbh. It had over 100whp more than the Br0 and only pulled when the Br0 gave up, or so it seemed like on my phone. That always seems to be the case with that car. It never seems to do well against anything in the same power range.
