Default 2001 Camaro Z28 VS 2011 Challenger SRT8 392

Raced against one of my friends 2011 Challenger SRT 8 392. Surprisingly it was my first time against a Challenger so I was pretty excited! Its been a while since I've done WOT digs & unfortunately I was a little "rusty" Was missing gears like it was the thing to do.... But overall had a good time/runs! I wasn't able to find the best rpm to launch my car without spinning. Since I daily my Camaro on these MT & have had them since they came out 2 years ago.. So probably time to get some new ones! Go figure after we were done & everyone was leaving I decided to do a pass just by myself & it was the best launch I did... But for being a little rusty & him pretty comfortable felt my car didn't do to bad given hes got 130 more hp then me?

His mods
Full exhaust, tune, intake, DR tires. Made 480 rwhp & TQ is unknown right now.. Has ran 11.6 @ 118 mph

My mods are in my sig

I plan on getting some more practice in on launching my car & trying to get a rematch in.. I don't think I can get my car a 11.6 but with enough seat time I'm sure I could get close to it. Or I can just finish my car up by the end of the month & rerun him then! Anyway enjoy

I think you better go ahead and install that cam and those heads.

Get some seat time and rematch

Even with just a cam and better tires and driving it should be very close

Idk that car looked significantly faster. Maybe untruthful about his mods

I'm not sure either, but I've seen where a cammed LS1 is a good match for a bolt on 392. They're just so damn heavy. I think in this case it had a lot to do with the driver and traction

How many times must people post videos of rape. Have some decency

Challengers are pigs. My slow *** Camaro outran them constantly. And I only made 20 more whp than you. I think there may be a little more in that 392 to be running those times

A tune on a 392 is massive change from stock... No way a Bolton LS1 can compete without a lot of gear and weight reduction. Cam and bolt ons would put you pretty close though.

Ouch, that was rape. Heads and Cam might make that up, but that was a lot of ground you would have to cover.

That was many great deaths!

I think like the others said, something's up with the mods on that srt8. You'll need to pick up about a full second based off that video. I think it'll be a different story once the heads and cam are installed.

I mean even from a roll that 392 was really about to put some lengths on, until he hit the brakes

IMO those cars aren't as slow as everyone claims.

Don't worry OP you were just out muscled. Get those H/C/I installed and roll him up next time.

Practice your driving also

Ouch! You might need *** surgery after that rape.

It happens though and no disgrace. That SRT is making some good power.
Use these races though as motivation to get some mods done and go out and run him again.
