Default H/C/I/ WS6 vs 14' Roush stage 3

Ok so not a race that has happened yet (hopefully soon though) but my buddy has this 14' Roush stage 3 and everyone and there cousin is saying that this car will eat me alive but I feel that I have a shot at a good close race. now i have searched this before and seen hci ls cars beat 427R roush's but what about the newer 2013+ stage 3 cars with them being advertised at 575 horses. his car is completely stock. my car has trick flow GenX 220 heads fast 92 intake with fast NW 92 throttle body Tick performance 234/232 sns stage 3 cam car is an A4 so it has a yank 3600 stall transgo shift kit with a strange 12 bolt and 3.90 gears. any thoughts/experience as to how this race will turn out?

You should spank his *** from a dig if you can hook. I'm guessing he's on street tires?

Assuming you have drag radials, just make him run from a dig and then offer him a kleenex or 2 after the race.

ya they hook quite well for what they are. they do great in the rain and the tread wear has been very forgiving. still have quite a bit of tread on the rear

You should have no trouble with that Roush from a dig then!

Any weight reduction on the WS6? Suspension mods?

I'd bet you take him from a dig. It would probably be pretty close from a roll considering you're auto & I'm assuming he's a stick.

If it's only 575 hp you might even give him a run from a roll considering the weight difference

make sure to post a video of the outcome I've been curious as to how I'd do against one as well.

The older 427R's are turds. The blower is severely inefficient. H/C/I LS1's have troubles wit bolt on 5.0's, so idk how it'll go for you from a roll with nobody spinning... A dig, you'll probably win.

The 2013 Roush makes around 500 rwhp on the average dyno and weigh around 3900 lbs. The average HCI LS1 is let's say maybe 440 rwhp. On power to weight alone it could be very close from a roll. From a dig you'll slaughter him. My buddy's ported 03 Cobra makes exactly 500 rwhp and weighs about 3500 lbs with a little weight reduction. When we race from a roll it's pretty much a driver's race. The Roush has about the same power but 400 lbs heavier. Anything can happen of course but with your mods OP I think youll pull it off
