Tuned, bolt on 5.bro vs Stock 6th Gen Manual

The 120.x mph was -980 DA.
Hes on the fast list with a 11.9@119. His fastest mph wasn't his best ET.
The other guy was -800 DA that went 11.7 dr and 11.9 stock.
And yes a +200 DA 118-119 trap.
And got another at 118 or so but not sure on the DA. None of them have been -2000...ive never even seen DA that low lol.
The corvette has trapped around 122-123. Cars are about 300lbs apart. So it works out perfectly in that regard. And the Camaro actually makes a bit more power. The vette team lying also?
Just because its got 5mph on the best hero trap of the 5.0 doesn't mean its BS. It just means they are ~5mph and ~.5 apart in the quarter like most people have figured out...
http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-2...-analysis.html
Every 1000 feet is worth .13 in the quarter. So around 1mph as well
You ran in +800? 11.9@ 117? In -800 DA you would run ~11.7@119. You are currently running dead nuts with a bone stock a8 ss with drag pack. A 2ss with larger front brake option, MRC and 220lb driver btw A bone stock no option a8 1ss may edge you out...
So the car that trapped 118 in +200 da would trap about 120 in -980. Works out perfectly....
what else you got for me?

It depends on conditions and driving. Not the car.
You keep harping on the DA. So I corrected them to what you would have run in -800 DA.
And if im not mistaken your stock 12.4 matches the fastest hero time of an s550...
Factory freaks don't exist. Every motor makes within 1% of its advertised rating. With the build tolerance etc these days its just not happening. Not more than 10 hp or so. A harder break in on conventional oil can arguably seat the rings a bit better but that's a different conversation. They will all run very close if no problems exist with the car apples to apples no hidden mods etc
The difference in times is from difference in track, wind , driving, DA etc etc...they all run about the same if they are mechanically sound and optioned the same.
Also looking at the power a 5.0 picks up from e85 and your slight weight loss you should run right with a stock 6gen. Which happens to be what these calculations show as well.
Any 16ss a8 with good driving, 1.7 60 ft and -800-1000 DA will run a high 11 if it is mechanically sound.
My head is starting to hurt from the bench racing lol

Thats exactly what I did with that post. Of course no car can average anything.

I agree... we are just talking what ifs... all I can do at this point is wait to run into one on the road, or at the track. i definitely am not trying to hate on them. They are fast cars, and GM is on point with them. I have actually considered holding off on my FI setup for my car, and see what Ford has in store for the 2018 models. I am sure there will be a power bump, and most likely the 10speed auto will be introduced into the Mustang line. I think the 10speed by itself would make both of these current cars much much closer than they are now stock.
SS should get it too. Also a 6hp bump rumor coming from new injectors.
If the GT just added the A10 to the current model it would pick up a couple tenths I'm sure... Still won't beat the sex gen especially not after it gets the a10 and a few more ponies...
Thanks for the civil discussion btw
I think you would be wise to wait as well...

Resorting to name calling smh. I'd throw you over your car if you told me that in person kid. With my weak arm. I'll remember you said that if we ever meet. Like I said you don't know **** so stop making stuff up like a gossiping high school twit. Get a clue and hang out in the tech section and learn something instead of trolling.
I also wouldn't be so confident of fighting somebody you have no idea about. Be careful with that kinda attitude. You might get hurt

That 10 speed is already in a zl1

Pretty funny when sis gen hero times is needed to compare to poppa's nowhere near hero times.
Really does look like a drivers race.

I don't think you know anything about me. You wouldn't be the first person to be shocked. Let's just say I've had a very fair share of "scuffles" lol. I'm very confident I'd have similar results with you

Lol not coming to Nebraska, just wanted to know where about in NE. And not quite sure why you want to see pictures of me. Pictures of me won't prove/disprove anything. I'll be there watch to stutter and stammer as soon as you prove you've got a car to race

No, I have some prior experience with Jake. I would like to mention that I am neutral towards Jake, no ill will at all towards him.
I used to live in Norfolk and have always just wanted him to stop by when we were out, just to chat.
