I got called out by a challenger for a 20 roll. This is what happened

Mauled! Although my Scat Pack feels strong, I know my 4th gen will slap the hell out of it. The driver is clearly a tard in the Scat. 20mph is the basement of second gear. Quite possibly the worst kick in the car to do. I bet he was smart enough to try first but then dumb enough to try and paddle shift and go off the rev limiter.

Lol he said that 20 was perfect for him in 1st lol I just went with it. He never started to pull back or anything just got further behind. Beautiful car though

I am not making excuses for him. Hell it was in Texas, he might of hooked in first depending on tires and temp. A bolt on cammed LS6 should trap higher than 114-118 which is the variance I see with Challenger Scat Packs. That's including a CAI. Catback is just sound unless he actually pulled the cats off. Glad it happened to be the Barney Plum Crazy purple too lol! Good luck if you ever end up wanting to sell it. Only other thing since it is Barney purple it is a 2016. Car is on a timer that usually lasts around the first 1500 miles. Car doesn't get full timing until then. Shouldn't of mattered either way with the gap you put on him. Just like to add my .02 if I know it is worthwhile lol.

Yeah I assumed it was a 15'. And no man those are good points. I'm sure he's driven it further than that as he said he had taken a trip in it to San Francisco from houston. I loved how it sounded and looked and at the hit we were dead even when he was in 1st. I had to drive my car to get around him (if you can hear my shifts I had to nail them lol) but as we got faster he fell behind. His car is significantly heavier than mine. I told him to throw some headers on it! We did a couple dig runs and I got him once and he got me once. I was spinning helplessly as even 315 mm of NT555 can't hook up lol. I want heads and FAST intake but I need to do something with this 10 bolt so I can dig.

Thanks guys. Every since I got my car back running, everyone is calling me out! Trying not to back down but these tires don't hook:/ when I race someone that has a car about as fast as mine I'll loose from spinning haha.

My buddy in a 03' cammed, FBO, stock stall 4.6 2v mustang called me out.... Again. Seems like a waste of time but he's talked a mountain of trash...

Nice to see a couple 4th gens in srk recently running well. Headers will help some but they already have the same shorty header the Hellcats come with. The engineers say one of the few things choking off the 392 are the cats. I was happy to read that after I already pulled mine off.

Good kill OP. I took one out last week at my local track. Pretty much same mods as me.. tune(Diablosport sticker on rear window), exhaust(loud as hell), and drag radials. I think he got upset... he was making back to back passes before our run, and parked the car afterwards...

Matter of fact, his buddy in a Dodge truck.. big motor was beside him in the staging lanes, and told me to go ahead and run him... so I guess they thought they were going to gap a new S550 Mustang... Didn't happen.,

3.73's he says. He thinks since we are both cammed it'll be even. He said this last year on my last setup and never lined up. He thinks he's serious now

Good run. That 5.0 in my other thread got off the line on this guy and the challenger couldn't real him in. The 5.0 got a perfect launch so that helped

On this run, he ran 7.7. to my 7.8. The runs were pretty much identical though.. I got him on the tree, and he got me by .1 on the 60ft. Had we left at the same time it would have been a door to door race. his 60 was 1.7 to my 1.8. I'll have to see if I can find the slip... My computer room is a mess right now.

Edit: When we crossed the line he was approx. at my rear bumper. Maybe a couple feet back.

They called out the wrong mustang at the track. I raced a 392 charger from a 60 roll that I wasn't ready for, and i drove around him. You'd have mauled him.
