Poppa(S550 Mustang) vs 6gen SS at track

I agree, that is a strong running stock car. I would be tempted to throw my stock mufflers back on when I put the tires on but I doubt it. Can't wait to hear the crying from that. Lol

The current 5.0 manifold is not active. Atleast the one I cut-up and used as a benchmark back in 2014 wasn't. The 2017 MY manifold design was completed in may of 2014. Last I heard they pushed production out to a 2018 MY. I've moved on to designing boats in Florida so I no longer have inside information on that stuff other than hearsay from buddies back in MI.

Yeah a 17. Too late to order a 16 now. Building for 17 starts June 6. No 16s near me with options/build I want and like to order anyway always have. Not much changed other than a 600 price jump and hyper blue is a premium cost color now. Got a new light blue color as well which is not that great IMO. I'm sure the 18s will get the 10 speed and possible 6hp bump from injectors but not a big deal really.
Well c what happens id love to go. Other than getting the time off if winter comes early I could also get screwed. Sometimes we get hit in November . These cars arent worth a damn in the snow. Pretty much undriveable with any decent amount.

We can figure out a good spot to roll them off at. Would be nice to be able to try before I do any more mods on mine. Would be really fun as we both sit now.

That's interesting. Another company must have gotten that business, Mann-Hummel made the 2011-2014's and won the bid for 2017 MY.
I'd like to see how the active manifold acts with boost. Speaking in terms of NA, the low rpm torque gains from the flaps closing was pretty significant when you overlay dyno graphs of active vs non-active manifolds.

With boost, particularly supercharger applications, there have been quite a few issues with part throttle surging. I am sure they will get, or have gotten the bugs worked out in the tunes for that.
