2v are a joke NA. With a built motor mine only made 336rwhp. With a 200 shot it made 520/650. I didn't get any numbers with the twin turbo kit but it ran 10.20s on only 12lbs with et streets. I always wanted to go with a 4v but really liked the hate 2v got. It was fun to surprise people I suppose.

Actually that's a bad idea. The best way of driving a B headed cobra is to shift right at redline.

I have a 96 gt, auto. Pretty much stock. Painfully slow, and a horrible green color. Bought it as a joke cause my buddy is a Mustang guy, what a mistake. How Ford sold any of these i'll never understand

Which is the reason that the cobras have a bad reputation. Unless it's cammed or has a short runner intake, peak power occurs at 5700RPM. Spinning to 7100 is completely useless.

What are you smoking? You have that completely backwards. PEOPLE DO NOT SPIN THEM AND THAT MAKES THEM SLOW....

Peak power on my brothers 97 with intake, x pipe flowmasters, and under drive pulley was right at 6,300. If you shift at 6,300 it brings the car down to less than 200 wheel at the bottom of the next gear. If you do spin the motor, it does not drop off power worse than the shift until 7,100 WHICH IS WHERE YOU SHIFT, or just before.

Did I say shift at peak power? No, I didn't, I said shift at redline, which is 6800 on a B head cobra. And you're dead wrong, do some research and most will agree with me.

If he spends the same amount of money on the cobra as he does the trans am it could be a good race

If I had a B-headed Cobra I wouldn't worry about keeping up with stuff; full exhaust, lowered, chrome 18" Saleens, done.

You two are basically saying the same thing regarding shifting past peak power to prevent the rpm's from dropping too much in the next gear. Only difference is he is saying 7100 and you are saying 6800. The concept is the same, however.
