Default Rematch Race? Bamarrow vs Scat pack?

So here is our last race. The guy wants to do a rematch? He said he got radials and headers. He already had a catback, CAI, and tune from the last race. Think itll be a different story?

Meanwhile, I changed my oil and fixed exhaust leak. Not sure why he needed radials when It was me that was spinning....

Last race..

Any Ideas on rematch?

I think with his new mods he'll have a chance... if you blow your motor lol. Looked like you had him by 5-6 cars?

Umm yeah I don't see this being much of a race based on how bad you smoked him last time lol

You make just as much if not more power in a lighter car yea I wouldn't worry one bit. Hell even if you're down 50rwhp I still wouldn't worry one bit. Your weight advantage is killing him.

You really beat him pretty good, should still have this by a wide margin. Maby he is just racing to see how his mods are going to respond compared to the last race? Or maby he got a big shot he is not telling you about and will make it interesting lol

I'm not sure what he has up his sleeve other than what he said lol I am putting on my torque arm relocation crossmember and torque arm this weekend so hopefully no more spinning!

He is thinking his 8-speed will make up the difference! (his words not mine)

Headers and tires is not making up that kind of a gap. I will give him one less car than you put on him last time. Due mostly to him getting tires. If you hook that 8 speed out of the hole he should be in the 3's 0-60. The 392 has the same shorty header from the factory as the Hellcat.

Last time we did a dig, he launched on me (not spinning because he used launch control, limits wheelspin) and then I caught him (spinning pretty good lol) by the 1/8 mile or so.

And he says he's getting long tubes this time and ORX. So hopefully better than shorties.

Launch control uses traction control to get the car moving. So the car will only apply as much power as the tires can hold. If he had the 245/40/20 stock Eagle F1's, the car will pick up when he puts DR's on from a dig. Even with 245/45 Yokohama Advan Sports, I can pull 4.1 0-60's. Launch control works good in cooler weather or when you are limited by tires size. If putting heat in the tires and/or having adequate tire size in warmer weather, not using launch control is the best option in my opinion.

~He is still going to get yanked regardless.

Here is launch control in action not too long after picking my car up. You can hear and see how the car holds the throttle then eases it back in thru first. The stock tires can't even hold shifting to second with the engine not even broke in yet. This was only a 4.6 0-60 in performance pages fyi.

Nice man looks like it is running good. That ZF box is nice! I love it in the new BMW 550i. 480 IBS-FT and 450 hp gets off nicely with it! Gear spread is bad ***!

Here is a video of that dig I was describing:

Yea I know what races you have posted. I didn't post that to show off or anything. Just explaining how it works. 4.6 is weak. I can pull a 4.1 heating the tires up and have pulled a 4.3 with 2 other people in the car both weighing a total of almost 400 pounds. I am just explaining that if he uses launch control with a better the tire, the car will be faster to 60. He will still lose and I don't think it will be much of a race. A LS6 is a hard running motor.

With the size cam you have, I wouldn't be surprised if your Camaro ran with mine.

I am currently running a cam only LS6 with small headers/lid combo. Cam is currently a 235/240 .629/.615 on a 111 LSA. heads and intake to come

Are you running a y-pipe? Make sure it has a good merge if you are. It is worth power.

Get a flowmaster Y merge and just have it welded in. Definitely worth it. Also be weary that he may have done something he isn't telling you. Maybe a little cheater kit for a 50 or 75 shot. Otherwise, kick his new car A$$! Hahaha!

Make sure your bottle pressure is good and I doubt you'll have a problem with him.

Yeah he may be being shady but that may be just enough to make it interesting?

I really want to get one, Just havent yet. Just dropped $600 on a Torque arm setup since I popped my stock one this past weekend. It better be worth the money!

What do you mean bottle pressure? I don't have any bottles on my car?

You may still be spinning, but if you are getting alot of movement it will help. Just make sure you get your pinion angle right. May have to play with it a little, you don't want any vibration. What are you planning on setting it to? What trans mount do you have?
