Even the 2012s did that? Didn't know that. Thanks for sharing

Yes, 2012s do it as well. Sorry for the long post but, I have a feeling that a lot of these poor performing ZL1s are in the wrong mode... Been there, done that.

No worries, dude. Like I said, a lot of it may have to do with people not knowing how to drive their cars well. Like a 2014 C7 A6 running damn near me on my old setup.

Never turn everything off. Turn off traction control, put stability control is stabilatrac (for you it might be race) and leave the suspension in tour. You want the *** end to squat as much as it can to help get weight over the rear wheels.

This is what happens when you turn everything off.

THX. I ran my SRT many times with all things off and it is much more squirrelly than the Z. However, the best runs in the SRT were with the T/C on and in manual mode but still making the computer shift. If the Z will go full off and stay in tour, that would probably be ideal for me. I'm hearing from the ZL1 community, that even mode 5 pulls power under hard acceleration. Launch control is pointless and can easily be out done. Either way, I don't want to go back to the track and not be on a tire. Toooo little traction on launch and shifts.

I put V1 in competition mode at track and on street. TC off, SC turned down.
