Yeah I'll mention the cats thing to him. According to the magazine times I should get him, but who knows in reality.

The times I've seen in mags are a 13.8 for the Genesis and 13.9 for the mustang

Sounds like it would be a good matchup for a stock Srt-4.

13.8 for the sedan? I've seen that for the coupe but not the sedan. I read like 14.3 IIRC

Yeah the sedan. The 2009 4.6 shows to be a 13.9 (oddly enough)

I had a 2004 for a short time and it went 13.95 @ 102 mph, but the clutch was definitely worn out. Had some kind of eBay short ram intake and a set of upgraded motor mounts.

In 2012, they switched to GDI and bumper the hp rating from 290 to 333

Thats crazy that the 290 hp sedan ran 13.8. I wonder if it's lighter or something since that's an extremely mpressive time for a 4000 lb 290 hp car lol

Yeah... I was rather gentle on the launch, but after flat foot shifting from 2nd to 3rd it was very apparent the clutch was on its death bed.

The 2009 4.6 rated at 375 ran a 13.9. The 2009 3.8 rated at 290 ran a 14.3. But still not too bad for a 4000lb car with lazy shifts.

After replacing the axle shafts 3xs, and it kept blowing boost lines off constantly, he got T-Boned by an old lady

A few zip-ties would forever solve the vacuum line issue.

You say that, but I raced my dad in my GTP and their CTS on the way to my grandmother's funeral(I know but he started it). He beat me by half a car, and he never let me live that **** down up until the day he died lol
