If you are comparing base vs base... 6g ss can be had for mid 30s, while the 350 will run you a low 50s (if you are lucky enough to find one). Most of them are marked up to mid-high 50s.

If you are talking loaded... 6g ss is a mid-high 40s, while the 350 will go low 60s or R model for 75+...

I was speaking mostly on running the cars in their intended environment mm.

Anyone ever seen a m6 camaro vs a8 on a roll race?

I would buy a 13/14 GT500 long before a 350 for the streets. Not sure why anyone would do otherwise other than for investment/collector purposes or turning. Same thing with the 15' Z28 until GM dropped their pants on them. Those cars are a deal right now.

Overall I'm not very impressed with the gt350 performance wise. It's cool...great looking....makes all the right noises. But it's gonna get it's *** handed to it by 6gen 1le. Actual performance of the car is a bit of a let down after all the hype.
You would ABSOLUTELY love the car if you got the chance to drive it Hio. It seriously makes my 1LE feel subpar. At no point did the car feel underpowered.

It was made for a complete driving experience and it executes it tremendously well.

GT350 is a collector's car built for a road course. I passed a couple C6's, C7, couple Boss 302's, and many others. Honestly it did great on the track... until it decided to coat the underside of the car with oil. Pretty sure the oil filter seal failed (seems like common issue with the GT350's freaky oil filter) except the car didn't catch into a flaming ball of fire like this guy: http://www.autoblog.com/2016/08/02/f...lames-120-mph/

As far as I can tell that's exactly what happened to me last week (minus the fireball).. oil dumped all over the pan, wheels, tires, suspension, exhaust, etc. Pulled into the pits with a white smoke trail behind me... guess I got lucky.

Has made me a hell of a lot less interested in tracking it so I'll be taking my s2000 instead from now on. I can't see me holding on to the GT350 for much longer, kinda useless if I can't track it.

Oh I'm sure i would love it....vastly updated car. Although the actual stats aren't much better than a 5gen 1le for the gt350 handling wise. I could definitely see it feeling more refined.

Here's a m6 vs a8 camaro on the roll. The m6 car does have a ported tb and cai. I woukd think both of those do very little for the car tho.

I really want to find a local one to race. I found one on Camaro6, but haven't heard back. I want my friend to drive though since he will take the question of driver mod or not out of the equation

Still very impressed with how the 6G ran from the roll given Sean's results on paper with it. I knew it would take it pretty hard from a dig.

Really cool of Ford and the dealership to not only replace the car with one a model year newer, but also upgrade him to the R.

Im sure the m6 will be a beast too. For me the Ported TB was a waste of money. It just made the pedal feedback feel a little better, which was later completely corrected by the tune. The CAI on fue other hand, seemed to make a good difference on my car. Absolutely felt the increase in power.

I like a combo of all. Don't really care about dyno sheets though. My car has only been on a dyno for tune adjustments. Never measured what it makes.

Some people are just scared of the track. No biggie.

This is true. Not sure why. It is a very rewarding feeling to see how minor changes help or hurt your results.

Your car looks awesome OP. Strong runner for sure. New LT1 + A8 = monster. Still not 100% sold on the 6th gen but not like I can afford one right now anyway lol. The 350 is badass too but there's something about the exhaust note that bugs me.

The intake I having coming for my car (supposed to ship before the end of August) just made 0 hp and 2 tq on the dyno for another Camaro6 member back to back...I'm going to test it myself back to back, so we'll see how that goes.

The rotofab looks most promising. He's making some bold statements/guarantees.
